To lay myself at Your feet

I quiet down my heart

And humble myself

I beg for Your forgiveness, Lord

For my foolishness and my pride

For being so stubborn

For being so unyielding

I used to think

"A little love is all I ask and that is all..."

But now I look upon Your throne

And know I have all the love I need

Let me spread my wings and soar with You, Lord

Take me to the sky

I know I will never fall again

For I have left the world behind

There's no more loneliness

There's no more despair

There's no more hopelessness

There's only life in You

My heart beats with a smile

My tears glisten with joy

My eyes dance to the rhythm of Your Spirit

My voice rings as my soul rejoices with this new life within me

Walk with me and I will walk with You

Run with me and I will run with You

Fly with me and I will fly with You

Search me, try me, and I will still be with You

Let me never forget who You are

And that You're only a prayer away

No more lamenting, no more dwelling on my afflictions

I have donned the armor of God and will remain strong through all times
